The best and the worst
After ask some foreign students from different nationalities we get:
- The people I met in the residence where I lived.
- Bois de la cambre when the sun is setting.
- The international character of the city.
- Lights in the Grand Place, trip to Brugge, first time I went to the Atomium.
- my student house, the friends I made and the cheap that is travelling from here.
- When i met my girlfriend.
- Brugge, Gent, Delirium, Grand Place, Saint Cathrine, Christmas Market...
- Probably the whole experience.
- I find the people very nice and I find them fitter than many other nations I have seen.
- Brussels a very nice city.
- A jam sesion in a underground place.
- Nights in lovely bars with great beers.
- Trip to Brugge.
- Our trip to Norway.
- My student house.
- Espectáculo de luces en la Grand Place.
- I made lots of friends and I learnt how to work in research and how people work abroad.
- When I knew no one.
- When Belgian people who I don't even know can't stop telling me how strong the Spanish accent is.
- Bad weather.
- Sometimes I missed my family and my friends.
- I have seen a lot of beggars, which bothers me, I realize that most of them are foreigners and the state can't do much about it.
- The sun.
- Rain, public transport strike, terrorist alert.
- Metro La Bourse.
- Some subjects at the college.
- A small child asking me for leftovers of my waffles on Christmas eve in the city center.
- I got scammed by a bus driver of De Lijn. He first told me that my ticket is not valid for their company, which later turned out to be a lie, and after that sold me two tickets for a higher price than he should, giving me only one at the end.
- Bureaucracy.
- Bad weather continously, and the weird way social security works.
- The district of Jette where i lived is bad communicated.
- The weather. I wanted to visit many places and I couldn't because of the bad weather.
- The lockdown and the fear fostered about it.
- The weather and the character of the Belgian people.
- The lockdown of the city that we suffer, It is not a safe city and the fear we have passed.
